John Petrovic

John started in the contract furniture industry in 1999 as a Manufacturers’ Rep with Bodkins & Associates. John’s dynamic personality and superior customer service while covering all of Northern and Central Ohio, led to his unprecedented 108% increase in sales for the company in just three short years.      

Before entering the contract furniture industry, John spent 24 years learning the music distribution business while working his way to Vice President of Sales for Arrow Distributing Company, a national distributor of music, movies and accessories to retail stores.      

John’s reputation in the furniture industry attracted the attention of Ken Altiero who convinced John to become his partner at KMA in September of 2005. After developing the business at KMA for just over one year he purchased the company in January 2007. His enthusiastic personality and unique style of “extreme” customer service helps him to continue to grow and develop the contract furniture business for clients as well as the manufacturers he represents. 

John is finally able to enjoy semi-retirement with the sale of the company to Candy Cooper and Melinda Lewis. John's wife, Karen, is looking forward to having him around more often, so that they can enjoy those grandkids and more nights by the fire!
